Does Your M.D. Know Nutrition?

Do you want to know WHY your M.D. or Oncologist knows almost NOTHING about nutrition and won't EVEN talk about it?

#1 They know VERY little about nutrition
#2 They ASSUME you won't listen anyway and want the easy way out

Only 27% of the 105 medical schools in the United States met the minimum 25 required nutritional hours set by the National Academy of Sciences. (1)

That means 77 medicals schools DIDN'T even take 25 hours in nutrition and the other 28 had only about 25 hours of nutrition.
No wonder why your Oncologist says, "it doesn't matter what you eat".....because they have very limited knowledge of nutrition.

No wonder why your M.D. says, "changing your diet will not change your blood pressure, diabetes, etc"....because they have very limited knowledge of nutrition.

Quit asking why your oncologist or doctor never talks about the importance of nutrition...
they have NO idea about nutrition, they study CRISIS care and treat symptoms
with DRUGS or SURGERY.

What's The Deal With Magnesium?

Magnesium is known for many things, but probably the most popular is its ability to alleviate constipation. Magnesium does a lot more than help you when you’re stopped up. It’s a co-factor in over 300 enzymatic metabolic reactions, which means your body needs this essential mineral. Despite it’s necessity in our bodies, most of us are chronically deficient in magnesium, only about 25% of the population gets the recommended amount of magnesium needed daily.

Boosting your daily intake of magnesium is easy, and has some wonderful benefits, including:

•    Increased energy

•    Improved digestion

•    Relief from muscle aches and pains

•    Relief from headaches

•    Improved relaxation

It's always great to start by increasing food sources of magnesium. When necessary, supplementation is a great way to boost levels. Food sources of magnesium include:

•    Pumpkin seeds

•    Spinach

•    Swiss chard

•    Sesame seeds

•    Quinoa

•    Black beans

Magnesium deficiency can be a sign of intestinal dysbiosis and certain gut bacteria can hinder the absorption of this nutrient. Dysbiosis in the gut hinders the absorption of more than just magnesium. It’s also a key factor in deficiencies of vitamins B1, B2, B3, magnesium and zinc. When you start by addressing signs of GI stress, you will correct a foundational issue that will resolve other nutrient deficiencies.

Eat This Daily!

COCONUT OIL!

Another reason why cancer patients NEED to eat coconut oil EVERYDAY (and you as well!).... Coconut Oil Stabilizes Blood Sugar and Insulin Levels

High blood sugar levels trigger INFLAMMATION, which is one of the underlying Causes of ALL Cancers and almost EVERY disease.

Coconut oil is a VERY healthy fat and can help control blood sugar and insulin levels...how?
Coconut oil has NO direct impact on blood sugar levels.
Coconut oil helps glucose enter your cells, slowing and reducing insulin levels in the blood and this is POWERFUL!

If you HAVE to eat carbohydrates (all carbs turn to sugar in seconds)....also eat them with Coconut Oil!

Coconut oil slows the digestive process, so it lowers the overall glycemic index of your meal. When you eat coconut oil with your meal of carbohydrates, the carbs are broken down into glucose more slowly, so blood sugar levels remain steady even after you eat!!!!

One last powerful way Coconut Oil lowers blood sugar...
Coconut oil consists of medium-chain fatty acids (MCTs) not long-chain fatty acids, which most BAD fats contain...these longer chain fatty acids decrease your cells ability to absorb blood sugar, which raises your risk of diabetes and Increases Inflammation.

What is the EASIEST way to EAT a lot of coconut oil?
I add 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of MCT oil to my first smoothie of the day.

Is Coffee Healthy?

54% of Americans over the age of 18 drink coffee on a daily basis, so how do you make this healthier?

Coffee has some nutritional qualities, but the problem is:

1. What your adding to the coffee!
2. Drinking TOO MUCH!
3. When you are drinking it!

If you are drinking the popular coffee store versions, they have tons of extra calories,
sugar or even worse - FAKE sugar.

How do you make coffee healthier?
If you love to drink it and won't give it up - do this....

1. Avoid Artificial Sweeteners And Refined Sugar
You may not think these store bought coffees have a lot of sugar but here is an example - A salted caramel mocha contains 56 grams of sugar and a typical Frappuccino has over 66 grams of sugar. You may as well eat donuts for breakfast!
If you need to sweeten up your coffee, add a small amount of stevia instead of ALL that sugar.

2. Avoid Artificial Creamers
Artificial creamers contain so many dangerous ingredients, like corn syrup solids and hydrogenated oils (trans fats). Use real cream or add grass fed butter.

3. Only drink ORGANIC coffee
Always choose organic coffee beans. Coffee is the most heavily sprayed crop in the world
with pesticides.

4. Eat Before You Drink Coffee
Do not start your day with a big cup of coffee, because you will SPIKE your blood sugar level and then it drops.  Your body releases insulin in response to the caffeine found within coffee. This, in turn, causes a major drop in blood sugar, which leaves you feeling depleted and tired. If you eat, even a small amount or add the next thing to your coffee,
it will slow down this insulin spike.

5. Add Coconut Oil to Coffee
Coconut oil is loaded with healthy fats, specifically medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). These MCTs have been linked to improved weight loss in multiple scientific studies. Coconut oil will not only help you keep insulin levels low, it has SO many healing properties as well.

Anyone Can Lose Weight On 500 Calories Per Day

Trying to just eat 500 calories a day to lose weight....and still expect to be HEALTHY?
Think again!

There are many new weight loss programs that have you eat only 500 calories a day and take different supplements, creams or even HCG!

This CAN definitely work short term, because if I have you eat a very small amount of calories, you will lose weight and this can be very beneficial SHORT TERM, but the problem is long term.

Here is WHY?

Eating only 500 calories a day can limit the amount of fats, proteins and carbohydrates that are necessary to live. When you begin to deplete your body of these, your body goes into what it thinks is SURVIVAL mode because it thinks it's starving. When eating only 500 calories a day for a long period of time, it creates a LARGE loss of body protein, primarily from muscle tissue. The protein losses continue to decrease rapidly as the body thinks it's starving and up to one half of the total weight lost during a this type of fasting is muscle and water, a ratio which is unacceptable.
This is why as soon as you begin eating normal again, you gain your weight right back, you have spent lots of money and now your upset. There are NO shortcuts to health or losing weight. The key to losing weight is to move your body from a SUGAR burner to a FAT burner.

That is why Intermittent fasting with high intensity exercise is a much healthier and smarter way to....
1. lose weight
2. keep it off
3. get healthier
4. reduce inflammation

With Intermittent Fasting, it allows you to get the benefits of fasting, but you're still able to get enough calories of all the necessary, proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Instead of BURNING muscle and wasting away, your able to TRULY burn fat and still BUILD muscle.

Is Your Family Still Getting This?

Is Your Family Still Getting This???
A report from the world’s oldest and most prestigious medical journal, The Lancet, has officially classified fluoride as a neurotoxin — in the same category as arsenic, lead and mercury. Also in the report, they note that neurodevelopmental disabilities, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and other cognitive impairments, are now affecting millions of children worldwide in what they call a “pandemic of developmental neurotoxicity.”
The report coincides with 2013 findings by a Harvard University meta-analysis that concluded that children in areas with highly fluoridated water have “significantly lower” IQ scores that those who live in areas with low amounts of fluoride in their water supplies. Sodium fluoride in drinking water has also been linked to various cancers. Currently, fluoride is added to water supplies across much of North America, but the list of countries that ban or reject water fluoridation shows, the practice is actually not too common, or banned entirely throughout most of Europe and in several other developed nations across the world.
Since most places in America still add fluoride to the water a high quality water filter is recommend to filter out the fluoride, and it can be especially important to avoid exposing yourself to too much fluoride in your daily shower or bath. Also opt for non – fluorinated toothpastes that are also free of other harmful ingredients.

Starving Your Cancer of Sugar!

STARVING your Cancer of Sugar...increases your chances of survival!

If your oncologist or doctor is STILL in denial that SUGAR FEEDS CANCER...RUN!!!

Here are 7 more studies PROVING this again and some of these studies are from the hospitals you've been diagnosed at!

This is a video Dr. Majors did on how sugar FEEDS cancer...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_j8qfbYr5u0

*1. In the January 2014 Journal of Clinical Investigation (124 (1), 367 – 384), scientists Yasuhito Onodera, Jin Min Nam and Min J Bissel showed that increased glucose uptake actually promotes cancer via two pathways – EPAC/RAP1 and O-GicNAc. They showed that increased glycolysis (due to increased use of glucose as a fuel) actually caused cancer to form.

*2. American Medical School Johns Hopkins have researched colorectal cancer (August 6, 2009). “Colon Cancer may yield to Cellular Sugar Starvation”. They showed that starving patients of sugar can increase survival – they found two genes that cause a cancer’s survival and growth in situations where healthy cells fail.

*3. People with the highest blood sugar levels develop more cancers, and people with cancer and high blood sugar levels survive least. Poor sugar control has been consistently linked with cancer and people with diabetes have higher risk of cancer. This may be direct – through glucose – or indirect – through insulin, according to the American Academy of Oncology Nutrition.

*4. Sugar damage doesn’t just involve feeding the cancer. As long ago as 1973 research showed that sugar consumption could block the action of the immune system from attacking cancer cells (Sanchez A et al; Am J Clin Nutr; Nov 1973; 26 (11) 1180-4).

*5. The Mayo Clinic states clearly on its website that “There is some evidence that consuming large amounts of sugar is associated with an increased risk of certain cancers.”

*6. 2010 research conducted by Dr. Anthony Hearney of UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center, studies on pancreatic cells showed that exposure to both glucose and fructose, made cancer cells divide and proliferate, but fructose (and soft drinks use High Fructose Corn Syrup, of HFCS) made them divide much more rapidly.

*7. Three to five day fasts has been shown by experts such as Dr. Valter Longo of the University of Southern California to boost the immune system and stop the progression of cancer by suppressing blood glucose, insulin and growth hormone levels.

This is why my FAVORITE diet is Intermittent Fasting with a Ketogenic Diet, which keeps the blood glucose low, ketones high and helps HEAL, REPAIR and REGENERATE the body.
